Judy is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the State of
South Carolina. Her Master's Degree is in Social Work from Boston
College in Massachusetts. Judy has specialized training in working
with couples who are dating, married, same sex couples, and couples
working on a separation in order to have minimal impact on their
children and families. Judy has expertise in working with children of
all ages as well as teens. She has worked in schools, hospitals, and
South Carolina. Her Master's Degree is in Social Work from Boston
College in Massachusetts. Judy has specialized training in working
with couples who are dating, married, same sex couples, and couples
working on a separation in order to have minimal impact on their
children and families. Judy has expertise in working with children of
all ages as well as teens. She has worked in schools, hospitals, and
outpatient settings. Judy has also had special training working with those who struggle
with eating disorders. Most recently Judy worked as the Recovery Specialist for a
Partial Hospitalization program in Massachusetts, helping patients who struggled with
dual diagnoses, mental health and addictions.
Judy has over 15 years of experience working with clients. She has recently moved to
South Carolina from Massachusetts to enjoy the warmth and hospitality of the South.
Judy had a private practice in Massachusetts where she saw clients ranging in age from
4-87. She was also the Clinical Director of a school for emotionally fragile teens. Judy
has a great deal of personal experience with children and teens as she has raised five
children and now has four grandchildren ages 5 and under.
Having attended the Family Institute of Cambridge, Judy has a particular style in
couples' therapy that gives her and couples she sees confidence that the therapy will
prove successful. She enjoys helping those couples to identify their needs and
strengths. She encourages those couples to work together outside of their sessions to
enhance their chances for a positive outcome.
Judy is happy to be near the beach and employed as an Associate in Dr. Helene
Stoller's practice. Judy welcomes the opportunity to work with new clients.
