About Tina Boyle, M.A., LPC
I am a licensed professional counselor in South Carolina. I was born
and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I earned a Bachelor of
Science Degree in Elementary Education and a Bachelor of Science
Degree in Special Education at Gwynedd Mercy College in Gwynedd,
Pennsylvania. In addition, I earned a Master of Arts Degree in
Professional Counseling at Argosy University in Atlanta, Georgia.
I have a diversified background which includes teaching, pastoral
associate, addiction counselor, adolescent counselor and family
counselor. I taught in the public and Catholic school systems and had
a private practice in Pennsylvania where I was a Certified Addiction
Counselor for 15 years. In October, 1994 I moved to South Carolina as
Vice President of a major mail order company. In 1999 I realized that
my heart was not in the business world and returned to working with
adolescents and families.
I joined the staff of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church as a
Pastoral Associate where I worked with Youth Ministry and Family
Services. For the last five years, I have worked at Bluffton High
School as the 504 Coordinator, Student Intervention Team
Coordinator, and Scholarship Coordinator.
As a counselor, I use a holistic and direct approach to assist my clients
in resolving problems and issues. I work with adolescents, couples,
individual adults, and families.
